Houdini Grow Mardini project File

Mardini was a daily challenge held by Side Fx open to all individual Houdini users during the month of March, 2021. With a 24 hour notice, Mardini was off and running. For inspiration, each week had a designated category with each day having a more specific topic. Throughout the month I was fortunate enough to take two 2nd place and three 3rd place wins, and finished in 10th place overall.

As a result I decided to share how I created those winning entries along with other entries that didn't place. Video tutorials for these are posted on my main site at Fendra Fx, my Vimeo profile, and at Side Fx Tutorials. These video breakdowns are free, but purchasing the project files or any of my other products helps support me, and keeps more video tutorials coming.

The project files are also a great option for those wanting to just dive straight into the build. I encourage you to watch the videos as they are very informative and explain each project build in depth, including the render material setups.
